Star Trek and Known Space[]

With the Animated Series officialy reinstated to canon, the Kzinti have become part of Trekverse once more, and in a story that's similar in both continua, to boot. Are they alternate timelines of the same canon or is it simply like how there are Elves in many 'verses? -Tawaki 22:31, June 1, 2011 (UTC)

Mission listings[]

So, with pages for each series now, I'm wondering what's the best way to handle mission reports. Should we continue listing them here, or put them on their appropriate series page, or maybe both? I think other series with spin-offs on separate pages list missions separately.

I think they should only be listed here, but with parentheses next to each indicating which series and linking to that page. This is mostly because I know I'm going to be writing for multiple series, and I'd like to keep all my missions in chronological order. Maybe there can be a heading on each series page saying "missions in this continuum" and linking to the main Star Trek page. Hermione of vulcan (talk) 16:52, March 29, 2013 (UTC)
People can always find your missions in chronological order on your agents' pages and/or your website, so I don't know if that's an issue. On the other hand, the idea behind continuum pages is partly to help people find missions to a particular canon, so it would be easier for someone looking for, say, Voyager missions if they were listed on the Voyager page. That's one reason for doing them separately.

You're right - decisions about wiki organization should not be based on one person's missions. Which haven't even been written yet. I was being selfish.
I think it's a good idea to list them both places, because if you like multiple Star Trek series it would be annoying to have to go to multiple pages. I also think that missions on the main page should be labeled with the series. That was something that annoyed me when I was lurking and wanted to read Trek missions. Okay, that makes sense to me. ~Neshomeh 13:03, April 1, 2013 (UTC)
