Roving packs of flamers DO exist[]

And they DO troll FF.net, trying to force writers they don't like off the site. My friend was attacked by one so hard she quit fanfic for years.

In fact, this person rounded up a posse and spammed her until she gave up and left the site in tears. This was quite a while ago, as suggested by the update date of this profile... but it still happens even today. She has a whole posse of flamers that run around just to antagonize bad writers off the site. And this isn't an isolated incident: more of these guys and other bands of them exist elsewhere on FF.Net. In fact, here's a whole ff.net group that goes around doing this to Suethors. http://forum.fanfiction.net/forum/Flamers_Paradise_by_the_Blue_Screen_Light/24107/

And it's not the only one.

So yeah, source needed tag can be removed?

No worries. I'm actually really glad of the source needed tags; it's giving me the chance to go and try and find sources. Though I suspect that some of the ones on charge pages are tagged over sarcasm and unfindable examples. Maybe it would be better if we sent out a cry to the community: "Please find this charge in a badfic, and give us a textual example!" Aster Corbett 15:07, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
The idea is that people with source information can edit the article to include the missing information, so yes, go for it. I didn't mean to imply that such a thing couldn't exist, or anything else—I just didn't have the information myself or know where to find it. ~Neshomeh 04:19, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
