Spork

A spork is a utensil that has a spoon-like shallow scoop with the addition of the tines of a fork. It has many uses. For instance, it can be used to gouge out one's eyes while reading badfic. Because "this makes me want to gouge out my eyes with a spork!" is such a common complaint, the spork has become emblematic of making snarky comments about badfic, a.k.a. sporking. Some agents, such as Drake, modify sporks to be used as combat weapons. (It is rumored that sporks were originally invented for purposes of dining, but this is unsubstantiated.)

The verb to spork can be used to refer to one of three things:

To the act of PPCing, MSTing, or otherwise riffing badfic, as in "I intend to spork this badfic." There are many websites where Mary Sues are sporked.
To the result of said PPCings, MSTings, or riffings, as in "See his sporking of the badfic at [link]."
To the act of using a spork as noted above, as in "Oh my god, she's sporking her eyes out!"

It is actually possible to spork one's own badfic. This results in an author-requested mission.
