The Oxford 2004 PPC Gathering was a Gathering of PPC Members in, you've guessed it, Oxford.
It can possibly be considered memorable due to two facts. First, it was the first PPC Gathering ever held. Secondly, and importantly in HQ, that their visit to Tolkien's grave provided enough Canon Love to make Tolkien temporarily stop spinning in his grave because of badfic. The Department of Dead Author Electricity Generation weren't too happy about this, but the DoDAEG were able to harness other dead authors to keep the power on.
