Morgoth Bauglir (known as Melkor while still a Vala) is a Dark Lord from the Tolkienverse. The first and eternal evil being in Arda, he was Sauron's master and waged war against the Valar, and stole the Silmarils. He was eventually imprisoned in the Void by his peers and Sauron, the lesser evil, took over as the biggest threat to peace.
Morgoth currently teaches at the Official Fanfiction University of Middle-earth, where he frequently bickers with Sauron and enjoys arm wrestling.
