An Illogical Incubator is a device used by Medical to support babies who are the victims of bad biology. These infants can be removed through the use of an Embryo Extraction Kit or an in-vitro teleportation procedure.
Infants requiring Illogical Incubators are those that have one or more traits that are usually incompatible with life, such as impossible genetic mixtures, unrealistically fast gestation, or being the child of a parent who should not have been fertile (a vampire in most continua, for example). Mpreg babies may require one, but in many cases their only danger comes from having a male "mother," and these uncomplicated cases can simply be transplanted to a female surrogate mother or grown to maturity in a uterine replicator or similar apparatus.
