Good Omens is a novel co-written by those two gods of modern fiction, Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Considering that they are two of the most revered authors known to the PPC, it should come as no surprise that Good Omens is rather popular.

Plot Summary[]

The End Times are close at hand. It is time for the Anti-Christ to be born into the world so the last battle between Good and Evil can take place at the appointed hour.

There are a few problems with this.

Chiefly, the agents of God and Satan on Earth, Aziraphale and Crowley respectively, have become rather fond of the old place and aren't keen on seeing it unmade. They have also become friends over the millennia, and they scheme together to keep an eye on the Anti-Christ to ensure that he grows up unable to choose between Good and Evil, thus staving off the end of the world indefinitely.

Enter the next problem: somebody switched babies at the hospital. The child everyone thinks is the Anti-Christ is actually a normal little boy, and the Son of Satan is Adam Young, who grows to the age of eleven as the child of two perfectly average English parents, unknowingly using his supernatural powers to create the stereotypical childhood he thinks an English boy ought to have.

Meanwhile, the Powers That Be have cottoned on that something is not right, and the race is on to find Adam before the Four Horsepersons bring in the Apocalypse.

In Fanfiction[]

Aziraphale and Crowley get slashed. A lot.

In the PPC[]

The Good Omens Fanfiction Summer School, which has a six-week term, is coordinated by Miss Kali and Miss Morrigan. Its minis are mini-Hellhounds or, in cases of inappropriate nicknames, mini-Hellpuppies. (Supernatural has similar-sounding minis called mini-hellhounds. Don't confuse them!)
