A cafeteria worker is one of the agents in the Department of Operations who works in the Cafeteria.
It is likely some combination of negative ability in cooking on the part of the cafeteria workers and unsuitability for use in cooking on part of the kitchens themselves that make the Cafeteria food practically inedible. Recently, however, increased standards introduced by the Nightshade in the wake of the Blackout have improved the quality of what's served – at least to the point food isn't likely to come alive and try to kill everyone.
