Not to be confused with fan stories sold for profit on actual black markets (doujinshi), black market fics are fanfics written by authors who have not completed a year at an OFU, and so have not earned their writing license. Unfortunately, the vast majority of badfic which the PPC has to deal with is likely from the black market.
