Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader, is a primary canon character from the Star Wars continuum. Both hero and villain, he was married to Padmé Amidala and fathered twin children, Luke and Leia, before being seduced to the Dark Side by Emperor Palpatine. After over twenty years as a Sith, Vader killed his master to save the life of his son.
Anakin was an extremely powerful Jedi Knight considered to be the Chosen One, prophesied to restore balance to the Force.

Anakin is a prime Lust Object for Star Wars fangirls, and has been the target of Suefics as well as slashfics, in which he is often paired with his (former) mentor and best friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Often, his wife(-to-be, depending on the time setting) is either ignored or thrown drastically out of character.
For reasons unknown, Darth "Valer" replaces Voldemort for a moment in "My Immortal."
