The 2006 Power Cut in PPC HQ was caused by the Black Cats piling large amounts of canon material around the grave of J.R.R. Tolkien. This caused him to suddenly stop spinning in his grave, which meant the Department of Dead Author Electricity Generation was thrown into a turmoil. This was done directly before their invasion, to allow them to portal into Headquarters.
