The Board is currently down due to someone messing with its code via messages. Until the Nameless Admin fixes it, you can acccess it by disabling javascript.

Both of them are working fine for me--quickly, even. Try restarting your device, maybe? That or just wait a few hours--that often works.

Yes indeed! It would seem that WE ARE NOW BACK! In response to hS and Tomash: I did mean it as a collective thank you, but there's no distinct plural you in English, so that got lost. Thank you to you, Tomash, for archiving, thank you hS for hosting it, and I'm not sure who's been doing the most recent years (also Tomash?) but thank you to that person as well! ...there is apparently an archive of absolutely everything over at hS' site. I take back what I said about the threads being bumped off: it's still annoying, but there's an archive and all is well. Although, wow, that's a lot of archival work. Thank you so much for doing it!

Well, an actual pair of crashes can be rather disheartening. And worrying. We also don't know what's causing them, that I know of, which rather makes things worse. Apart from that (and the tendency of years-old conversations to be bumped off the edge into oblivion), of course, the Boards work well and are quite useful. The rest is details.

PS: And I guess that's my very belated addition to the thread about looking at alternate Board systems: apart from the crashes, which didn't happen until just after my first two years as a Boarder, and the fact that I can no longer access posts made in mid-2013, I have only very, very minor complaints about the Board(s), which I'm really only thinking up now because, well, I started thinking about it. And I can live with those quite easily. So...the crashes are worrying, I wish threads didn't get bumped off but can live with it if I must, and anything else is nitpicking and can be ignored. That's my opinion on it.

In this case, I expect they're just getting a lot of traffic? Who knows. Either way, it seems that both Boards are down again. If you're making posts, and happen to be looking here--don't post yet, I doubt it'll work (I haven't tried, I was trying to check for updates when I noticed they were down). It's a bit different from last time--Chrome is telling me it's outright been refused a connection. Better or worse than the internal error message I couldn't tell you. Here's hoping it'll end soon and we'll get everything back...
